Liberty View Ballroom | Independence Visitor Center

Spring has sprung and the Open House at Liberty View Ballroom was so much fun & has me in the mood for Summer! Before I jump the gun...here's a little taste of the evening and what this place has to offer! Brûlée Catering rolled out new menu items, Master Bakers showcased beautiful and tasty cake, Cuba Libre served up classic Mojito's! Thank you Ann Marie Casey Photography for capturing it all on Film!

Spring Open House | National Constitution Center

New engagements are in the air! We showcased at the National Constitution Center earlier in March where Ann Marie Casey Photography snapped these beautiful detail shots! (Thank You AMC!) If you haven't found the perfect venue yet - we are psyched to be at the Liberty View Ballroom Wednesday - check out this gem of a venue!
A little Seating Card Display:
A little test drive for an upcoming wedding (and it was at the NCC!):
Maybe a little Fall Inspiration - can't get over my love for these candlesticks:

And who doesn't love a little Elephant Butt?
If you missed this Open House come see us Wednesday!

Alyse & Matt | NCC Wedding

Alyse and Matt tied the knot at the NCC this past weekend & I have to admit - I had a hard time giving these babies up! I can not wait to see the official images from their wedding photographer Amie Schroeder (who's images are sure to be better than these from my phone!) Natalie Diener was their planner & the day went off with out a hitch. Here's a sneak peek at the beauties....
Bridesmaid One: Berzelia!

Lucky Girl #2: Green Hydrangea

Beauty a laTres: Green Trick Dianthus
 Lovely Lady #4: Green Cymbidiums
Rounding the corner is miss number 5: Green Parrot Tulips
Pretty #6 (maybe my fav?): Leucadendron
and the Bride herself...a little bit of everything:
I miss you lovelies!

Emile & Joe | Loews Hotel

We don't usually take more than one wedding per day - but how could we pass this up? Emilie had based her inspiration off of this pillow...and I love a gal who's inspired! Kate LaRosa was the planner and the evening was pulled off with out a hitch at the Loews Hotel on the 33rd Floor. This is one of my favorite room(s) for an event. The building was built in 1932 and was designed by architects William Lescaze and George Howe - and that 33rd Floor was intended for the Board of Directors...think forward thinking "Mad Men."

Now these shots are nothing compared to what I am sure their official photographer Sharyn Frenkel took - but while we wait with bated breath...here are a few detail shots to hold us all over!

We knocked out some "Color Saturation" bouquets for the Bridesmaids and an "All Color" bouquet for the Bride...
Then a few more stripes for the ceremony...

and the centerpieces pulled it all together...

...along with the city view that tied in with all the printed materials (cute table numbers!) and the pillows themselves made an appearance too!
And a pre-honeymoon Thank You is an amazing way to start off the week:
Hi Judith, I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how much I loved the flowers and how beautiful everything looked. And thank you again for accommodating our last minute requests...Joe and I head out on our honeymoon on Wednesday, but after we return I will be sending you a more formal thank you/recommendation. (I just couldn't wait to tell you how perfect everything was!) Thanks! Emilie

Style Studio | Happy First Day of Spring!

I was dreaming is Spring when I designed this and maybe a little about Easter, pastels lovelies and soft fuzzy leaves , oh, way back in November... So these babies are more of an color inspiration than a "run out an order it today" pretty. Thank you Sofia for another beautiful bouquet shoot! The dark and light pink blossoms are called Curcuma  - and they are so sweet. The petals are a bit waxy, not tropical but they do remind me of Ginger. Which makes sense since they are part of the plant family that contains such species as turmeric and Siam Tulip.

Thank You! Thank You!

I love waking up on Sundays to an early morning day after "Thank You"...
"Thank you again for last night! The room was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The linens, the lighting, the flowers were perfect. Job well done! ~ S. Shack

This past weekend we designed a "Dr. Seuss" Theme for Sophie at The Merion Tribute House (BTW - I was so honored to see that they updated their FaceBook Page with images their staff took from the party! Thank you!) Ann Marie Casey Photography was the official Photographer for the event, Eric from All Around Entertainment, an amazing cake by Truly Custom Cakery and Blackfish BYOB served up some amazing dishes - so I'm saving my official post for Ann Marie's official pics - stay tuned!

Style Studio | Clematis

Meet Clematis (KLEma-tis)! A little climbing pretty with a name that sounds like a disease, but sits within the buttercup family. As fresh cut flowers they have been showing up at the market in whites, pinks, lavenders, purple and a gorgeous red (you may have seen that in an earlier post!)  Winter hosts a beautiful window where the Bush Ivy has berries showing - I couldn't resist nestling them with a few Garden Roses. Clematis lends itself so well to a natural cascade - I finished it off with some hanging Amaranthus in green. It practically made itself. With pretties like these, I might just make it to Spring!
Thank you so much Sofia Negron Photography for shooting this for me!

Samantha and Lou | Le Méridien

I met Samantha and her mom way back in August at Le Méridien Hotel via Sofia Negron. If you haven't been there yet - grab a date and swing by for a cocktail. You will be in love. "Originally a YMCA, the hotel is housed in a 10-story Georgian revival-style structure with intriguing historical flair, located in the heart of the city's business district and less than one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center."

Sam had some definite ideas as to what she liked; and what she didn't. I get along great with people who can make decisions - we were a match! That being said - she did have a very short "Must Have" list: Peonies. White. Barely cracked open. (Insert audible gasp from me!) Now, I love making dreams come true as much as the next designer - but promising a Spring flower in December is skating on thin ice. Crisis averted...slightly cascading, barely open - dream come true...Check!
We brought some color into the Bridesmaids with beautiful garden roses and light pink peonies
Sam and Lou were hitched and all was set at Le Méridien...each of the tables were a little different in design but all built withe the same floral types:tulips, hydrangea, roses and striking black candlesticks that picked up the curves and details of the room.
Sam and her mom collected all of these spent shot - 'cause they fit the color pallet and it's a nod to a sport Dad would appreciate.
Yep - Oreo Cake!
And then the fun really began!
Special thanks to Amanda Chrin from Le Méridien for making our job so easy! Sofia Negron captured so many more amazing shots than I can showcase here - check her out! And for hair that just wouldn't quit - Marcos Matos you are amazing!
Congratulations Samantha and Lou - I loved being a part of your wedding!
